Gusbourne Estate won the accolade…..  ‘English Wine Producer of the Year’ December 2015.

We have treated ourselves to a glass or two prior to this event and..well…we are going to be struggling to share on the night. Fortunately none of us are competent wrestlers.

The three vintage English sparkling wines you will be drinking will be Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2010, Gusbourne Rosé 2012 and Gusbourne Brut Reserve 2011 which you will be able to purchase, if you desire, on the Eleventh of February.

Please in the meantime visit their website to get a feel for the immense passion they have for wines that spring from Kent soil.

Now. Food. We have enormous pleasure in introducing a very special client of ours, Joyce O’Hagan. She has an amazing catering company Jackson Gilmour they are immensely brave catering for very large numbers at illustrious events for some exceptionally well known people and even won the Events magazine caterer of the Year award 2015.

For those of you worrying about breaking your New year resolutions to eat healthily. All the canapes are from the New superfood menu, which are endeavouring to give you canapés that will make you feel great and energised after eating!! Vegetarian and gluten-free individuals should be very happy. Here is the menu.

Moringa biscuits topped with creamed goats cheese and goji berry jam (v) (g)
Quinoa bilinis with smoked salmon, lemon crème fraiche and caviar (g)
Parmesan wafer with quails egg, wild rocket, enoki mushrooms and truffle mayonnaise (v) (g)
Bruschetta with a red pepper salsa, lime mascarpone, glazed fig and rocket cress (v)

Served Hot
Duck and sweet potato wontons with a sweet chilli sauce
Seared scallop with black pudding and chorizo (g)
Nut encrusted chicken with a maca thai dipping sauce (g)
Indian spiced haloumi with roasted beetroot and an edamame dip (g)

  • It is going to be hard to believe but what we really want you to enjoy is seeing the new furniture in the showroom. We have had a spate of new ideas and cannot wait to show them off. Please give us a frank critique. Have we completely lost it to wallpaper the inside of a laundry cupboard? Does the ‘Erigo’ door panel give you goosebumps? Can you get your head around having porcelain floors? Are you feeling the need to have your Utility room re thought after seeing our latest efforts?
